(Shamrocks, Coins, and Girl Scout Cookies via SF Tequila Shop)
This morning, I was wandering around Bernal with the dogs and ran across several gold coins. Are there leprechauns lurking on the hill? Maybe, but…
Clovers and Coins on Cortland now has a map!!! Thank you to the 20 participating merchants. Follow this map or look for a small green clover with a riddle outside the store windows. Store owners and staff have the answers inside. More shenanigans to come- have fun on your coin and riddle hunt!

It turns out it is probably not leprechauns, but an enterprising girl scout named Lilly (with a little help from Mom) as a promotion to sell Cookies (like we needed an excuse to buy girl scout cookies).
Hi Neighbors! My daughter and I are putting on a little St. Patricks Day Kids Activity called “Clovers and Coins on Cortland” leading up to the weekend of March 18th. We are getting as many small businesses as possible to put a little riddle in their window to solve. The store folks have the answer inside. Just look for locations with a small green clover in the window! Nearby, a gold coin will be taped that a younger child could “find” (do NOT remove). We hope to get more up and a map this weekend!
FREE Cookie delivery at the end of the rainbow starting March 19th.Ā
And if all that riddle-solving and coin-hunting has you hungry, please sponsor Lilly’s cookie site – https://DigitalCookie.GirlScouts.org/scout/lillian774135
A big shout out to these supporting merchants, and for goodness sake – buy some cookies! As Laurie always says, “It’s Better in Bernal!”
