From Personal Quest to Local Studio
Rina’s path to becoming a local business owner is as unconventional as it is inspiring. Balancing a demanding career as an infectious diseases physician with the roles of parent and homeschooler, Rina initially set out to solve a singular, practical problem: building the perfect portable art kit.
That quest sparked a deep dive into the craft of painting. As Rina researched the chemistry of art supplies, she began experimenting with honey, gum arabic, and artist-grade pigments to create her own watercolors. What began as a personal project quickly grew into a dedicated local business, producing small-batch handmade paints, bespoke ceramic palettes, and journals for artists and curious minds in our community.
