Navigating the balance between safely socializing your pup and protecting them from disease can be confusing during this critical developmental period. Bernal Beast puppy socials are here to help!

Bernal Beast provides supervised play sessions that provide puppies with the opportunity to learn bite inhibition and expend energy in a safe, controlled environment. After 45 minutes of “play and train” fun, you’ll witness your pup nap soundly in their crate for the rest of the day – we have a feeling you’ll be signing up weekly!

Expert Supervision

All sessions are supervised by Stephanie Miller, certified dog trainer and co-founder of SF PUPPY PREP (established 2003). She ensures play is appropriate, interrupting and encouraging where necessary to maximize your pup’s socialization experience.

Steph has been helping dogs and their humans live happier lives for over 25 years. A graduate of the SF SPCA Academy for Dog Trainers, she’s taught everything from puppy socials to advanced manners at some of the Bay Area’s top training spots.

In 2005, she co-founded SF Puppy Prep, the city’s first puppy-only daycare and training center, inspired by the power of early socialization. She’s also Family Paws certified, giving her a special knack for helping families safely introduce dogs to babies and kids. Whether working with a brand-new puppy or tackling tricky behavior challenges, Steph brings a wealth of experience, a love for learning, and a big smile to every class.

Requirements

• Puppies must be between 9 and 18 weeks old.
• At least one set of DHPP vaccines was given at least one week before the first social
• Bring treats for play breaks and light training during sessions

• Floors cleaned with daycare/shelter-grade enzyme cleaner
• 45 minutes of supervised pup playtime with training breaks
