Bernal Community Día de los Muertos

Saturday | Sabado | November 1 | 1:00–3:00 p.m.

Calixto Robles, a San Francisco artist and activist, leads the creation of a community altar, and René y Familia brings the music.

Celebrate those who have passed by contributing an ofrenda (offering) to the altar. Bring flowers, incense, photos, letters/notes, sealed food/drink, or any small keepsake or trinket that serves as a remembrance to your loved one.

Enjoy live music from the three-generation musical family, La Familia Peña-Govea, who play original and traditional bilingual music. Drawing on folk traditions such as cumbia, ranchera, and sones, René y Familia brings the party wherever they go.

This event will be held outside (on the Moultrie St. side).
