Join fellow musicians and enthusiasts for a casual jazz jam session at Progressive Grounds in Bernal Heights, San Francisco. Hosted by Kyle Finley, this recurring event takes place on the first and third Sundays of each month.
About the Host and Band:
Kyle Finley leads the Dirty Works Jazz Band, a group that plays straight-ahead classic jazz reminiscent of the days of Riverside, Impulse, and Blue Note. The band, featuring a mix of Bay Area players, runs jams and plays gigs around the San Francisco Bay Area.
The Dirty Works Jazz Band will lead the jam, guiding participants through familiar jazz standards. This is an excellent opportunity for musicians of all skill levels and ages to connect, collaborate, and play in a relaxed and supportive environment.
Progressive Grounds makes it easy to participate by providing instruments and amplifiers on-site.
