Bernal Heights Holiday Season
Our BBAA Annual Holiday Stroll is Thursday, December 4th from 5:00 – 8:00, are you ready?
We have Santa and the musicians booked and now just need your help to ensure a great turnout. Please use the attached graphics to let your customers know about the stroll on social media, along with whatever treats you plan to offer! Cookies, cocktails, samples from your favorite food vendors, be creative!
If you add @betterinbernal as a collaborator to your posts, we can help amplify and promote as well. Also, if you need help providing treats for the stroll, please email laurie@12smallthings.com, and we can help arrange with all the great bakeries and food markets we have on Cortland.
The BBAA will also help promote these additional holiday events through a poster displayed in the Good Life Grocery windows. Let us know if we’ve missed anything:
Or Shalom will be participating in the stroll this year with:
- Cookies for people and pets
- Dreidels and Hanukkah Candles to take home with you
- Members of the Or Shalom Ensemble will sing and perform Hanukkah songs
Ogden Avenue Gardens will host their annual tree lighting on Saturday, December 6th, from 4:00 – 7:00 pm
- Tree lighting
- Refreshments
- Support community green spaces.
The Bernal Heights Library will have its Open House on Saturday, December 13th, from 11:00 – 4:00
- Meet library staff and community partners, browse our collections, and enjoy a variety of activities!
- Danza Azteca Xitllali-Xolotl – 11:00 am – 11:30 am
- Authors/Reading Alejandro Murguia (former SF Poet Laureate) and Susie Hara (Bernal Resident) – 12:00 pm – 1:30 pm
- Bernal Jazz Quintet (2 sets) – 2:00 – 4:00 pm
- Children’s Crafts from 12:00 pm – 3:00 pm
Facebook group Events on the Hill will host their 6th annual Hollidays on the Hill on Sunday, December 14th, from 11:00 – 4:00
- Meet your neighbors and find or sell unique gifts on the hill and along Cortland
