This month, the Ogden Avenue Garden Project is hosting an online art auction to raise funds for the garden project. Local artists have generously donated 90+ art pieces to support our fundraising efforts. OAG is a Greening Projects initiative. 

Neighbors on the south side of Bernal Heights in San Francisco have come together to transform a neglected, weedy street into a beautiful green space for the community.

The city has labeled the 400 block of Ogden Avenue as an “unaccepted” street, meaning they will do nothing to improve it. As it stands, it has limited sidewalks and overgrown weeds and has become an unkempt parking lot. Yet, this is a much-traveled throughway for people going to the MUNI bus stop, parents taking their children to Ana’s Daycare, and dog owners walking their pets. During the rainy season, it becomes a muddy mess.

We have gotten city approval to close down the street and received $300K in grants. The proceeds from this art auction will go towards the required matching funds. Click here to learn more about our project.

Please help us make our vision a reality by placing a bid on the beautiful art donated by over 40 artists, many of them local. The online auction runs from Oct. 1-31. For an additional fee (mailing costs), we can ship art to people outside the Bay Area.
