As we head into September, we are excited for the 21st Edition of Bernal Heights Outdoor Cinema.

  • Bernal Heights Outdoor CinemaĀ ā€“ Bernal Heights Outdoor Cinema presents free screenings of diverse, local filmmakersā€™ works in neighborhood parks, playgrounds, and other community-friendly spaces to increase the exposure and recognition of local artists and to heighten appreciation by neighborhood and citywide residents while bringing the community together. Sept 5-7, 2024
  • San Francisco Jazz FestivalĀ ā€“ For 40 years, SFJAZZ has presented the San Francisco Jazz Festival in venues throughout the Bay Area. With the opening of the SFJAZZ Center in 2013, the festival is now concentrated in the Center and the surrounding neighborhood, offering over 30 shows. Sept 5, 2024 ā€“ May 25, 2025
  • Opera in the Park 2024Ā ā€“ Music Director Eun Sun Kim leads the San Francisco Opera Orchestra in an afternoon of arias and ensembles performed by stars from San Francisco Operaā€™s 2024ā€“25 Season. Sept 8, 2024
  • 2024 Flower Piano: 12 Hidden Pianos in GG ParkĀ ā€“ In the final days of summer and for the ninth time since 2015, Flower Piano will once again transform San Francisco Botanical Garden into the cityā€™s alfresco concert hall where everyone is invited to play and listen. Sept 13-22, 2024
  • ā€œChuseokā€ Korean Harvest Festival 2024Ā ā€“ The Annual Chuseok Festival is the Bay Areaā€™s largest public event celebrating, showcasing, and promoting Korean culture, cuisine, music, arts, and community. The festival will have delicious Korean food (both traditional and fusion), exciting live performances from local Korean cultural performance groups, traditional Korean games and activities, and more!   • Haight Ashbury Street FairĀ ā€“Ā the annual event has endured for over 40 years. During its existence, HASF has been awarded numerous ā€œCertificates of Honorā€ from the San Francisco Board of Supervisors, the California Senate & the Bay Guardianā€™s ā€œBest ofā€¦ā€ citations. Sept 15, 2024
  • 43rd Annual Comedy DayĀ ā€“ SFā€™s massive annual park comedy fest features 50+ comics for free. Sept 15, 2024
  • A Taste of GreeceĀ ā€“ San Franciscoā€™s original Greek Festival, ā€œA Taste of Greece,ā€ returns with aromas of freshly made Spanakopita, Moussaka, Gyros, and other Greek specialties filling the vibrant Mission district. Enjoy live Greek music, dancing, delectable treats, wine tasting, shopping, and a kidsā€™ zone. The event is easily accessible via public transportation, and parking is available. Admission is free!   • Open StudiosĀ ā€“Ā Open Studios is an annual event that features a series of art-related activities.
