Stroll through Precita Park and admire the work of Urban Youth Arts Festival, a youth-directed event that provides a neutral space where youth can safely experience spray-can art and practice respect for one another. The event is free and family-friendly.

Music, Dance, Spray Can Art

Established in 1977, Precita Eyes Muralists Association, Inc., is a community-based, inner-city mural arts organization devoted to enriching and beautifying urban environments through community mural collaborations. We bring art into people’s daily lives through a process that enables them to reflect on their specific concerns, joys, and triumphs. We are deeply committed to collaborating with the various communities we serve to engage them in an inclusive process intended to achieve unifying positive social interaction and change.

The Urban Youth Arts Festival is a youth-directed event that offers city residents and visitors a way to experience and participate in its youth culture—providing a neutral and sanctioned space where youth can safely experience spray-can art and practice respect for one another. Both youth and experienced street artists/muralists share their art and bridge their generational gaps. With your help, we can provide materials that are much needed for our young artists. Feel free to bring friends and family to this community-centered event at Precita Park on July 20, 2024. We appreciate your contribution and look forward to seeing you!
