Come make a matcha bowl set for your morning ritual! You will learn the small details that go into making a matcha bowl on the pottery wheel and a matching matcha whisk stand. This class is for anyone who knows how to throw a cylinder. Each workshop ticket comes with a matcha drink of your choice from One More Matcha!
Mal Designs was created in San Francisco in December of 2021. Something that started as a fun hobby grew into a passion, a hands-on, therapeutic experience. The journey allowed Mal to find beauty in the imperfect and grace in mistakes.
Fast forward to the present: Mal Designs is inspired by childhood nostalgia as a Vietnamese-American and by the natural beauty of the world, including florals, earth tones, and minimalist designs. She is currently an instructor for Intro to Wheel, and you can find her selling at local pop-ups and markets around the Bay Area on a seasonal basis (stay updated on her Instagram @mal.designs).
