Bernal Heights Democratic Club
Founded in 1988, the Bernal Heights Democratic Club (BHDC) is a chartered Democratic club organized to give the residents of Bernal Heights an effective voice in government through active participation in the electoral process. The club’s mission is to research issues and candidates to educate and mobilize the community through political activities, including community forums and slate card development and distribution.
Endorsements of candidates and issues reflect the club’s overarching goal, which is to maintain the neighborhood’s economic and cultural diversity by working to further economic and social justice for all residents.
