SUMMARY:A Mission Bernal Tasting
DESCRIPTION:A Mission Bernal Tasting\nA global feast\, one block at a time — every bite\, every sip\, every dollar for a cause worth savoring. \n(Bring your walking shoes!) Multiple venues along the Mission Bernal Corridor \nA Taste of Mission Bernal \nWhere the funds go: The Good Prospect Community Art\nEvery ticket helps fund a mosaic tile art installation by artist Colette Crutcher (creator of the beloved 16th Avenue Tiled Steps) for the retaining walls at Cortland and Prospect\, with tiles created by our own neighbors woven into the design. The Good Prospect Community Art is fiscally sponsored by Independent Arts & Media. \nColette’s 16th Avenue Tiled Steps\, pictured below\, is the inspiration for this project. (More photos of the Good Prospect tiles and mural design coming soon!) \nCalendar – Bernal Heights and Beyond
