Come satisfy your cravings for authentic Swedish treats and a very special menu feature. \nHej Hej is back on Cortland! \nCandy Store Hours\n\n\nThursday: 11:00 am to 6:00 pm \n\n\nFriday: 11:00 am to 6:00 pm \n\n\nSaturday: 11:00 am to 7:00 pm \n\n\nSunday: 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm \n\n\nHot Dog Special\nJoin them on Saturday\, July 11\, starting at 4:00 pm until they sell out. They are excited to feature a brand new\, must-try Strawberry Relish dog! \n\n		\n		\n			\n				\n			\n			\n				\n			\n		\n\nWe look forward to seeing the neighborhood for a sweet and savory weekend. \nMeet Chef Hej Hej a.k.a Amelia Eudailey\nAmelia has been sharing Swedish food traditions with those around her for as long as she can remember. While she grew up in Colorado\, she regularly visited her Swedish family through adulthood and has fond memories of eating strawberries with milk on the porch during Midsommar. \nAmelia wouldn’t be Swedish without having an obsession with candy\, and she regularly requires at least two pounds of the “godis” to come home with her on every trip. \nAfter moving to San Francisco from Denver\, CO\, in 2020\, Amelia immediately became enamored with the food scene. Deciding that her tech career needed a shift\, she worked as a line cook at the former Michelin-star restaurant Octavia in San Francisco. Here\, she had the privilege of working with the freshest farm produce and learning unique fermentation techniques\, as well as fundamentals in food prep and storage\, cooking at scale\, and running a service. \nSoon after\, she launched “Hej Hej Swedish Hot Dogs”\, her pop-up and private chef concept. She started carrying custom mixes of her childhood favorite Swedish candies in 2022. \n“Hej Hej” can be found across the Bay Area and around various parts of New Mexico. \nAmelia is currently searching for the perfect location for her first brick-and-mortar concept\, “Hej Hej Swedish Candy + Hot Dogs“. \nCatch her at an upcoming pop-up and experience the wonderful world of Swede-ish hot dogs! \nSan Francisco Food & Drink Fest
