Class size is limited to 20 people\, first-come\, first-served via RSVP. \nCyrelle McDonald is an Ayurvedic Yoga practitioner who teaches weekly Hatha Yoga classes through SF Recreation & Parks. This two-hour class will be led by a member of the San Francisco Beekeeping Association and will cover the honey bee life cycle\, how to identify and treat pests and diseases\, and an introduction to working safely with bees. Also\, learn how bees work together to make honey\, pollinate flowers\, and maintain colony nutrition. You’ll make your own jar of carrot pickles and sauerkraut to take home and ferment. \nPlease bring a cutting board and a knife. This workshop will be held in the outdoor kitchen. Please wear layers and sun protection. \nMei Ling Hui leads SF RPD’s community garden and urban farm programming\, and has been volunteering as a Master Food Preserver since 2014. She has taught workshops all over the Bay Area\, including at the San Mateo County Fair and Maker Faire.
