The session is designed for anyone interested in learning the basics of tree biology and discovering how to encourage healthy\, productive growth in fruit trees. \nDate: Saturday\, August 15\, 2026\nTime: 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.\nLocation: Alemany Farm\, 700 Alemany Boulevard \nThe workshop begins with a group lecture on foundational tree care principles\, followed by smaller breakout groups where attendees can inspect trees up close and discuss practical pruning approaches. \nRegistration: Further information and event registration are available at alemanyfarm.org/workshops. \nFriends of Alemany Farm\nFriends of Alemany Farm promotes food security and educates local residents on how to become their own food producers. The organization strives to increase ecological knowledge and habitat value while sowing the seeds for economic and environmental justice.
