Featuring a four-course meal prepared by Chef Nicola of Six for Supper and a nerikomi demonstration by artist Katie Thrash\, the evening promises a unique blend of culinary and tactile artistry. \nThis collaboration invites guests to engage in two acts of making followed by a shared dining experience. The event begins with a workshop led by Katie Thrash\, where participants will learn the nerikomi technique to create a custom ring bowl. Following the workshop\, guests will gather for a four-course dinner served on dinnerware thoughtfully handcrafted by Katie specifically for this occasion. \nAbout the Artists\nChef Nicola\nNicola’s culinary perspective is shaped by her upbringing in Hong Kong and London\, as well as a former corporate career across the United States. Seeking a path more aligned with her creative passions\, she founded Six for Supper\, a concept dedicated to intimate\, convivial gatherings. Her cooking style is described as elegant yet unfussy\, drawing on global influences from the many places she has called home. She specializes in private dinners and small-group supper clubs designed to foster meaningful conversation. \nKatie Thrash\nAfter a successful career as a designer for major brands such as The North Face and Gap\, Katie turned her focus to the traditional Japanese technique of nerikomi. This labor-intensive process involves layering and manipulating colored clay to create intricate patterns.
