Start your vegetable garden from seed and turn your house into a greenhouse! In this seed propagation workshop, attendees will learn about the resilience and magic of seeds and how to start a vegetable patch from scratch. We will cover basic propagation techniques, such as seed sowing, materials, and young plant care. This workshop will include some hands-on seed-sowing for you to take home. Our goal is to help home gardeners get vegetables growing from seed – especially beginner growers – using practices that are affordable, organic, and planet-friendly (carbon-capturing).

Abby Bell and Vanessa Lieu are Farm Managers with Friends of Alemany Farm. They have over two decades of experience starting seeds and growing organic fruits and vegetables.
